London promoters Eat Your Own Ears, who know a thing or two about booking up-and-coming music acts, have put together this very appetising taster menu of rising talent. Michael Lovett, aka NZCA/Lines, headlines with his accomplished, synth-sational tunes about cryogenics and parallel dimensions. Before that, Teleman (former members of Pete And The Pirates) make placid, sparklingly crafted electronic indie. Further down the bill are atmospheric post-punk group Dark Bells, psyched-up guitar-wielders Paradise, and East India Youth, whose brand of Tim Hecker-meets-Bowie-meets-Byrne electronic pop was of our tips for 2013. All this for a fiver – you'd be silly not to.
