Matthew Herbert, Alva Noto, Nils Frahm, Sleep Party People (Thur); Metronomy, Atari Teenage Riot, Chromatics, Shabazz Palaces (Fri); Iggy And The Stooges, Thurston Moore, Doom, High Places, The Antlers (Sat); Swans, Chrome Hoof, Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks, Africa Hitech, Battles (Sun). Sonic Youth mainman, the legendary Thurston Moore, headlines this genre-defying festival alongside leather-skinned punk stalwart Iggy. Expect noise, metal and leftfield electronica acts among the lively bill. Both Polish and international bands are performing, and we're particularly excited by New York avant gardists Akron/Family who arrive with joyous, neo-folk, art rock and psychedelia; as well as intense Texan bluesman Josh T Pearson.
