Omar Puente Cuban Jazz Sextet

Virtuoso Cuban violinist Puente has been a scorchingly passionate presence at the side of Courtney Pine and Juliet Kelly and as a member of Raices Cubanas. Here he leads his six-piece through son-, salsa- and charanga-inflected jazz, featuring pianist Robert Mitchell and fiery percussionist Flavio Correa. Caroline Loftus provides vocals alongside Puente’s beautiful violin work.
