OOH LA LA FESTIVAL: Dominique A + Rover + Mélissa Laveaux

Ooh La La, an international festival of contemporary French music, holds its first London series. The second night of the festival focuses on French pop, with Dominique A, a master of modern, indie-rock influenced chanson, headlining. Rover, who looks a little bit like Gérard Depardieu and sounds a little bit like David Bowie circa 'The Man Who Sold the World', plays a support slot, and husky Haitian singer Melissa Laveaux opens the evening with her beguiling soul-jazz.
