Still going strong since their formation in 1996, Partisans spawned legions of young Brit Jazz rockers in the wake of their visceral sound that's equal parts Hendrix and Coltrane. Retaining a core line up of four of our finest musicians, guitarist Phil Robson, saxophonist Julian Siegal, bassist Thad Kelly and drummer Gene Calderazzo has helped too. Uncompromising and In your face there are still some fine melodies among the riffage.
