Sanders is undoubtedly one of the modern jazz greats – an acolyte of Sun Ra, Coltrane and Don Cherry – he's renowned for his breathtaking solos and powerful tone. He's still on scorching form and can tear it up on such 'Trane classics as 'Giant Steps', while he's just as likely to set up a hypnotic swing-funk groove on his soul-jazz hit, 'You Got To Have Freedom', this is a rare chance to catch this jazz icon live on the last of three nights.
