Plan B + Django Django + Sam Lee

The first in a series of shows featuring the Mercury Prize 'albums of the year' nominees includes the furious, funny, focused and frequently filthy-mouthed MC from Forest Gate, Plan B, whose rise in fame sees no end at the moment. Edinburgh's Django Django also appear with their excellent wistful and agreeably dowbeat, groovily leftfield tuneage, which rather suggests a cross between Beck, The Beta Band and Bon Iver. Plus, young London folk singer Lee. All funds raised tonight will go towards the War Child charity.
