Labels don't get much more culty than Mike Paradinas's Planet Mu stable. With its roots in jungle and post-Aphex Twin lunacy, they've broadened since the mid-'90s to become the kind of future-thinking label Warp was ten years ago. The magnificently-named Aaron Funk (playing under his Venetian Snares alias) represents the drill 'n' bass old-guard, while young stars Ital Tek and Rudi Zygadlo each play a wonderfully unique take on dubstep, alongside Boxcutter and Konx-Om-Pax.
