Ramsey Lewis: The Sun Goddess Tour

Legenadry Chicagoan pianist whose gospel flavoured style saw him score a major hit in the sixties with 'Wade in the Water' and 'The In Crowd' has returned to extraordinarily luminous form of late at the remarkable age of 75. His recent 'Songs From the Heart' (Concord) album was an unqualified success, but here he heads back to his Earth, Wind and Fire-era hit album 'The Sun Goddess', for some righteous soulful-funk-into-jazz sounds.
