Ray Lema Trio + Saka Saka Orchestra

Classically trained Congolese pianist Lema, who now resides in Paris, proffers a form of African jazz with his astute trio that includes Cameroon-French bass virtuoso Etienne Mbappe – who is also performing at the festival solo, at the Jazz Cafe on Sep 9 – and drummer Francis Lassus.
