London's four Record Bars are nightspots devoted to the power of vinyl, with music-themed decor and a packed line-up of gigs. Now, this music bar group is celebrating its 15th birthday by taking things to the next level, with a month-long festival split between its quartet of branches. Things will kick off at Eastcheap Records, with All-Stars House Band, resident selector Kengo San, and DJ duo The Nextmen doing sets with a hip hop and soul flavour. The following weekend it's the turn of Old Street Records, which'll host indie band The Marquees, a garage-fulled set from DJ P and MC Onyx, and dance from Zoe London. Northcote Records will hold an outdoor knees up in its garden, featuring brass and drum act Thunderhorn, followed by an indoor set from Hip Hop House Band. Then the grand finale is hosted by original venue, Clapham's Venn St. Records, with artists including Matt Owens (Noah and The Whale), Not A Faze and headliners two-time BRIT Award nominees Nova Twins.
