Rinse FM Eighteenth Birthday

Just look how far they've come. Born out of all sorts of crazy shenanigans (mainly erecting aerial transmitters on various east London roofs to service their fledgling pirate radio station) Rinse FM has championed just about every underground UK sound of the last ten years (dubstep, grime, house, UK funky, D&B to name just a few), become global tastemakers and have reared crossover chart stars on their label like Katy B. Tonight, they party hard. As well as a fleet of excellent Rinse affiliates and jocks (including DJ Zinc, Roska, Boy Better Know, Ms Dynamite, Jackmaster, Youngsta) there's the interesting addition of chic techno (no, not an oxymoron) duo Berlin Modeselektor, electro-turntablist A-Trak as well as the very cool Claude Von Stroke on the line-up. A huge party for a huge London institution.
