Roger Chapman

Former Family and Streetwalkers singer Chapman has the ultimately gritty rock voice: halfway between a growl and a roar. His recent work is fine and suitably raunchy blues-based rock, well worth a listen, but his pinnacle probably remains his burlesquey 'No Mule's Fool' and 'In My Own Time' period.
