Roy Haynes: Fountain Of Youth Band

Drummer Haynes has a CV that makes most of his contemporary's look like sick notes – lengthy stints with Lester Young, Bud Powell, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Monk, Getz, Coltrane and right the way up to extensive work with Chick Corea and Pat Metheny. His quartet for this residency includes saxophonist Jaleel Shaw, bassist David Wong and pianist Martin Berjerano.
