Sal Mineo: Xiu Xiu/Eugene S Robinson

Oakland, California-based experimentalist Jamie Stewart, aka the mastermind behind Xiu Xiu (pronounced 'shoe shoe'), teams up with the charismatic Oxbow frontman Robinson at this debut London appearance of their joint effort, Sal Mineo. Influenced by (and named after) the late, Bronx-born actor, who was stabbed to death aged just 37, the duo are over to promote their forthcoming eponymous debut LP (released Apr 2013).
