Sam Leak's Aquarium

An aptly monikered group led by emerging piano star Leak, whose watery, deeply absorbing compositions layer pensive harmonies and interlocking melodies with compelling results. These are thoroughly explored by the fine band that includes scorching yet cerebral saxophonist James Allsopp alongside bassist Calum Gourlay and drummer Josh Blackmore.
