Sbtrkt/Sampha + Thundercat + Michael Kiwanuka + The Pyramids + Bad Bad Not Good

The annual music celebration curated by Acid Jazz don, sonic global explorer and DJ Peterson is now in its seventh year and returns to Koko with a stellar lineup of talent. Headlining is Aaron Jerome as masked producer/remixer Sbtrkt, who's worked with everyone from Basement Jaxx to Underworld and favours a wide-ranging, post-dubstep style of electronica, usually with female vocals overlaid, or courtesy of the smooth-voiced Sampha, who appears tonight. Plus Flying Lotus affiliate Thundercat with his spaced-out '70s harmonies and lush, jazzy vibes, as on feted LP, 'The Golden Age of Apocalypse', and UK neo-soul newcomer Kiwanuka, who topped the BBC sound of 2012 list and is tipped for big things this year.
