Seb Rochford/Kit Downes + Jonny Phillips/Dorian Ford

Second of five nights of music curated by and featuring drummer/musician/hairstyle extraordinaire Seb Rochford – who appears here in a playful duo with fellow Mercury Prize nominee and stylistically versatile keyboardist Downes. The latter's multifarious projects include prog-jazzers Troyka, wonky fusion trio The Golden Age of Steam, and his own artful modern jazz sextet. So expect a willfully diverse set of piano/drum explorations here. Lyrical worldbeat guitarist Phillips and excellent pianist Ford play the opening set.
