Post-punk and dance pioneers return; Blackpool's Section 25 mixed the throbbing chorused basses of Northern punk with a smattering of synths that were, at the time, cutting edge. Their music serves as a harrowing soundtrack to England's inner psyche, hinted at by their name (the compulsory detention amendment to the Mental Health Act).
