Seven Last Words

The Musicall Compass ensemble under Crispin Lewis presents Haydn's 'Seven Last Words of Our Saviour on the Cross' – a re-imagined setting of Haydn's work for instruments and voices, with text centred on two twenty-first century characters exploring their relationship with death and hope. The poet Oliver Reynolds has created dramatic dialogue; choreography by Jo Meredith.
