Shabaka Hutchings/Kit Downes

A towering figure both physically and musically, clarinetist/saxophonist Hutchings has matured into one of the most inventive and versatile players on the London scene. Drawing on the likes of Don Byron and Ornette Coleman to create his own ingenious phraseology, he appears here with equally creative piano star Downes for a quicksilver jazz duet.
