In a concert entitled 'Table Talk: food, memory, creative dialogue and lived histories', the purveyors of chillout-fusion are joined by author and commentator Yasmin Alibhai-Brown. Incorporating jazz sax, Indian flute and Carnatic vocals, ShivaNova will be playing from their 'Secret Chants' album, inspired by the time band-leader Priti Paintal (who has worked for the Royal Opera House and City of London Sinfonia) spent studying Buddhism in the Himalayas.
