Steve Coleman: Reflex

As an African American saxophonist, improv maestro and composer from Chicago, Coleman was one of the founding musicians of the M-base (macro-basic array of structured extemporisation) movement, which errupted in the '80s in Brooklyn and centres loosely around jazz, but also includes poets and dancers. One of the most revered and respected figures in jazz today, this is a very rare chance to catch such an enigmatic music master at work.
