A bold attempt at creating a new ‘ethical and ecological alternative’ festival, the award-winning Sunrise borrows many of Glastonbury’s Green Field crew to produce a village of autonomous mini-festivals. In case you doubt its eco-credentials, the festival claims to be ‘100 per cent ecologically powered’ and uses Good Energy's fuel, which is 100 per cent renewable. Occurring over the summer solstice, expect a mix of hippy-friendly folk, atmospheric electronica and good vibes at this Shambala-esque gathering.
