Susheela Raman + Little Axe

Raman's a London-born Tamil singer (and former Mercury nominee) of real subtlety and range. Her heartfelt songs (such as those from recent album 'Vel') draw on Indian classical music and global pop culture, and whose band has in the past featured master drummer Tony Allen.
