Claiming you only have six good songs is just the kind of self-effacing move you'd expect from from Stephen Black, an unassuming Welsh troubadour with a cute brand of oddball pop. His folk-toned melodies sometimes sound like the kind of thing you might half-remember from an ’80s children's TV programme – which is, let’s be clear, a very good thing indeed.
