Brazilian singer and pianist Tania Maria is best known for her funky Latin fusion work in the late '70s, but she has also worked across a range of contemporary jazz and worldbeat styles with the likes of Steve Gadd and Eddie Gomez on the Concord label. Here her distinctive scat style is framed by a more familiar Afro-Latin groove as she promotes 'Viva Brazil' with an acoustic quartet.
