A great night, a great band and a great singer! Tara London knocked us all out with her stunning vocals as she showcased the entire new album 'Fairytales & Stepping Stones' (an album that has been on constant repeat since it hit my iPod by the way!). Standing toe to toe with the audience Tara gave us great song after great song. This lady is set to go a long way, or I'll eat my hat! Can't wait to get to see her again. . . soon!!!

Both Wayne & I had a terrific evening. Both supporting artists, Simon Clothier & Enrico Delves were an excellent warm up the the 'main attraction' that was Tara London & her dedicated band of accomplished musicians. The venue was heaving during her set that ran for a good hour, as she played her entire début album to us. Her soulful voice was on top form! Every song all but merged into the next, with a cheeky cover or two thrown in for good measure, together with two 'old' acoustic songs she & her guitarist & fellow writer, Nick Michaels played earlier in her career! Mention should also go to the backing vocalists, Baby G, Liz Mason and Amanda Murphy, who certainly know how to sell a song. Also in her band are the 'reverend' Jake Stanton on drums, and Shan Thaman on Bass. A great night was had by all! An additional thank you must go to keys player, Peter Byrne, who played the entire set despite being hospitalised days previously. The evening ended with Tara signing CDs for all her fans! This lady will go far!!

I've been a fan of Tara London since I first saw her perform at the Hootananys in Brixton, not only is she a Producer, Singer and Songwriter, but she also manages and performs with her amazing Band at a Professional level. The Album launch night was not only Brilliant, but a big Inspiration for a fellow artist like myself . Well Done Tara!!

Tara's Album launch show was one of the best gigs I've been too in a long while & the album's sounding good too!
