Teengirl Fantasy + Becoming Real + Seams + Eaux

US twentysomethings Nick Weiss and Logan Takahashi are the somehwat dodgily named Teengirl Fantasy, and peddle a literate and lustrous, laudably imaginative take on classic house and techno. Here doubtless previewing tunes from their upcoming second LP, 'Tracer', due out on August 21. Plus London's Toby Ridler as BR, with his terrifically intense and out-there cosmic-house productions, and 22-year-old, Berlin-based UK producer James Welch as Seams – newly signed to Full Time Hobby – whose minimal post-techno tunes often have a groovy, krautrock drive and betray hints of folktronica.
