Sean McLuskey's hipster-filled Shoreditch Day Out returns with three stages and tents filled with plenty of post-punk, rock 'n' roll, krautrock, no wave, lo-fi, indie-rock and bastard pop bands and, in the Bad Life dance tent, sets from Zombie Nation, Autokratz, Arnaud Reotini (Black Strobe) and Becoming Real. There are plenty of after-parties to shout about too, which you can get into at a reduced price with your festival wristband (sadly, not free, as in previous years) so check out the listings for XOYO, the Old Blue Last, Dalston Superstore, Mother Bar & 333, El Paso and the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen.
