The Average White Band

Celebrated jock-funk veterans roll up for the last show in a three night residency. Best known for the much-sampled rare groove classic 'Pick Up the Pieces', here they revive tracks like 'Let's Go Round Again' and 'Cut the Cake' for a new generation of acid jazzers. Original members bassist/singer Alan Gorrie and guitarist/vocalist Onnie McIntyre are still at the heart of the band alongside US drummer Rocky Bryant, saxophonist Fred Vigdor and keyboardist Klyde Jones.
