St Bride’s Choir presents its tribute to Her Majesty the Queen with a programme of music from across the centuries. Purcell’s 'Te Deum in D' (first performed in St Bride’s, which uses the text of the 1662 Prayer Book); Handel’s Coronation Anthem: 'My heart is inditing'; and anthems by Tallis and Byrd (published under the patronage of Queen Elizabeth I). Plus, music by Vaughan Williams, Bax and Ireland from the 1953 collection 'A Garland for the Queen'; and Parry’s 'I was glad'.
