This growly blues-rock crew seem to be trying to sound whisky-sodden in an edgy sort of way, but end up more like a crisp pinot grigio in a shabby-chic Chelsea wine bar. It's nice to know that Nickelback still have some fans, though.

Just wondering if whoever wrote this review has seen the band??? I have seen this band on numerous occasions and at varying venues, I have never been anything but completely thrilled and blown away by their performances. Over the years I have been to over 100 bands, some really big names, but still, The Temperance Movement are the ones I go back to time and time again and really can't wait for the next show. If you have any doubts, go a see for yourself (if you can still get a ticket - they are selling out fast!) I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. Such a friendly, humble bunch too that always give time to their followers.
If u only see 1 band this year, make it The Temperance Movement. This review from last Aug is just wrong. Get along to see them. It's almost sold out now... 5 stars for the band. Minus 5 stars for review.
Not particularly impressed by the wording of this review. Has the reviewer actually seen them? I know it's just one person's opinion (and we're all entitled to that), but, really?
Temperance Movement are selling out venues, and I understand Shepherds Bush is almost sold out. They have won awards and are incredibly hard-working. They're not 'trying' to be anything, just good, honest rock musicians who will make it big, you'll see.
Comparing this band to "a crisp pinot grigio in a shabby-chic Chelsea wine bar" is just nonsense. One of the best blues rock outfits on the scene. This is a band on the way up. Get a ticket and get in the slipstream.
