The Unthanks

The Mercury-nominated, north-eastern headliners are something of a family affair, featuring as they do Becky Unthank and sister Rachel on main vocal duties and Rachel's husband, producer Adrian McNally, on piano. Performing full-bloodied traditional ballads and songs in a simple and unadorned way, they draw on their lifelong immersion in the traditional music scene of their Geordie home.
