The Aurora Orchestra under Nicholas Collon, with violinist Tasmin Little, performs Wallace's 'My Concerto in Ee, Lad' (Proms commission), alongside Adams's 'Short Ride in a Fast Machine'; Debussy's 'Clair de lune' (arr A Caplet); and Shostakovich's Symphony No 4 in C minor – 1st movement (excerpt). Plus a screening of Wallace and Gromit film 'A Matter of Loaf and Death', accompanied by a live orchestral soundtrack. (Note: at 6.15pm there is a Proms Plus event at the Royal College of Music.)
