Theo Jackson + Gareth Williams

This double bill features soulful, earthy vocal-led jazz from impressive young singer Theo Jackson, who has a powerful yet subtle voice and also writes Stevie Wonder-like originals that avoid the usual clichés. Helping maintain these lofty standards is superb altoist Nathaniel Facey. Then there's a late set from fabulously gifted modal pianist and sparky vocalist Williams, who plays groove-based jazz with powerhouse drums and bass support from Ian Thomas and Laurence Cottle.
