Time Out says

The Hidden Depths series continues with its sensational series of mid-week shows, this time exploring Kode 9's underground electronic label, Hyperdub. He started the imprint in 2004 as a response to Simon Reynolds ‘hardcore continuum’ theory that all urban genres, like jungle and dubstep, are interlinked and a continuation of each other. Hyperdub is much the same, spanning releases from Mercury Prize nominee Burial, the first lady of dubstep, Ikonika, nu-grime producer Joker, cult junglist duo Hype Williams and beyond – not one confined to a particular genre but occupies the grey space in-between, all while sounding like they share the same artistic sensibility. Tonight Kode 9 takes the stage joined by roster artists Scratcha DVA, a live set from Laurel Halo, funky queen Cooly G (also live), plus cerebral electronic producer Actress (live) and pioneering Chicago footwork/juke duo Rashad & Spinn. Simply stellar.
