Sax/flute-led modern jazz standards and originals from NYJO trained rising sax star Freestone, playing here with bassist Dave Mannington and drummer Tim Giles. Before that, an early set from ethereal-voiced Swedish singer Martensson, who effortlessly mixes delicate folkish melodies with swoonsome jazz lines to create her own bewitching sound.
