A one day mini-fest that falls under the umbrella of Rock Werchter – TW stands for Torhout-Werchter, which was the original abbreaviation of the festival when it was held at two sites in Belgium (Torhout and Werchter) from '74 to '94 – and is held a week before its big sister, to ease everyone into the festive spirit. Usually they have classic acts, such as Lenny Kravitz, The Police and Elton John, so it's no surprise that the Canadian gravel-voiced purveyor of MOR, BA headlines alongside blues-rocking Scots Texas and the shimmering, synth-pop of SM.
