To conclude their four-concert series From One to Seven, in which the ensemble gradually expands, the Aronowitz Ensemble presents a mélange of miniatures spanning the Renaissance to the present day, including the first performance in 80 years of a recently unearthed chamber work by Benjamin Britten – his Bagatelle for violin, viola and piano, followed by an undeservedly neglected masterpiece of Romanticism.
