As part of Stoke Newington Contemporary Music Festival, an evening with the Vocal Constructivists – specialists in interpreting seemingly incomprehensible graphic scores and singing them engagingly. Inspired by the centenary of Kazimir Malevich’s Suprematist art work ‘Eight Red Rectangles’, the group sings a programme of modern Polish pieces alongside past composers, plus the winning entry from the festival’s graphic score competition.
