British tenor James Gilchrist sings a range of songs, including Samuel Barber's 'Hermit Songs', Leonard Bernstein's La Bonne Cuisine, and pieces by Ned Rorem. Interspersed with these, the Choir of Hendon St Mary performs Bernstein's scintillating 'Chichester Psalms', with a selection of American choral music.
