For fans of folklore, horror and paganism, the folks behind the Weird Walk zine – a journal that explores British legends and mythologies via rambling – have put together a very culty night hosted by the king of deadpan, Stewart Lee. Taking place at Moth Club, Cult Night will see a double bill of cinematic music from two films played live. Mike Lindsay (Tunng) will perform a chilling accompaniment to The Last Sacrifice, the true-crime documentary uncovering the real-life witchcraft killing that inspired The Wicker Man. The Portcullis, performed by composer and Richard Linklater collaborator Graham Reynolds, will take the listener on a journey through dungeon synth and medieval ambience.
