This tasty-sounding new night takes an open-minded approach, with the emphasis on quality dancefloor fodder and a lack of genre restrictions. Disco, boogie, Afro, and of course classic house and techno will all be belted around the Basing House soundsystem at Werk (not to be confused with Actress' Werkdiscs label) over the coming months, and the first guest DJ, Kerri Chandler-approved deep house producer and rising talent Citizen, looks to set the bar high indeed. Music journo Stevie T and Werk founder Danny Langan provide DJ backup at this promising newbie.
