Soumik Datta, Linos Wengara Magaya, Carrie Tree, Bakk Lamp Fall. Ravi Ji/Adrian Freedman, Bob Hillary And The Massive Mellow Small, family-friendly festival where the natural beauty of the site, the vast number of diverse workshops (archery or flint knapping, anyone?), talks, cabaret, 'wild Olympics', food and other activities are as important as the live music. Lining up this year are acclaimed young British sarod player Datta, Magaya, a Zimbabwean musician who founded traditional mbira group Zimba re Mabwe, and Senegalese sufi fusion kings BLF, who mix the ancient gnawa desert tradition with wild contemporary sounds.
