Former Dr Feelgood and Blockheads guitarist Wilko Johnson was recently diagnosed with cancer and declined treatment, but he's making the most of his remaining time: after his 'farewell tour' in 2013 he's booked another round of goodbye gigs, saying that he 'didn’t like this retirement business'. Having survived much longer than anyone expected, Johnson has even managed to record a new joint album of Johnson's old songs with Daltrey, frontman of The Who. They'll be performing songs from the record, entitled 'Going Back Home', together tonight in what should be an emotionally charged performance.
