Bloc Party are playing 'Silent Alarm' in full later this year

Yes it’s true! Thirteen years after its release, one of the last great indie bands standing – Bloc Party – kindly wrote to tell us that they’ll be playing all of their breathtaking debut, ‘Silent Alarm’, in full later this year. Here's the letter:

The band – now comprising original members Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack, plus Louise Bartle and Justin Harris on drums and bass respectively – say its a one-night-only affair, so don’t sleep when tickets go on sale at 9.30am on Friday March 23.

After that, sit back, punch the air and shout: ‘SHE DON’T THINK STRAIGHT!’.
