The summer heatwave isn’t abating so decamping to the great outdoors seems the only thing to do. Thankfully, there’s no end to the number of options open to film lovers wanting to bask in the long summer nights. Adding to the numerous outdoor screenings happening in London this summer, Fest Camden Roof Gardens has just announced a new open-air cinema.

The Camden Rooftop Cinema will launch with a ‘Best of British’ film season, kicking off on July 23 with a screening of that teen staple classic ‘Kevin & Perry Go Large’. The screen is set among Fest Camden Roof Gardens’ greenery, with hanging plants, a pergola and loads of places to sit yourself down, have a drink and enjoy the film. There’s also a bar and wood-fired pizza oven, and staff will even bring your drinks to you. Lush.

Tickets for the films start at just a fiver, with doors opening at 6.30pm and screenings starting at 7pm. If you’re feeling flush, you can upgrade your ticket with food and drinks add-ons. The films screening at the Camden Rooftop Cinema include ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’, ‘Four Lions’, ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery’.
