In case you missed it, Ed Sheeran has released a brand new record. His eighth studio album Play, which came out last Friday (September 12), was completed while the singer was travelling India, and features songs inspired by traditional Punjabi and Persian music. To celebrate Play’s release, Ed Sheeran has launched a two-day pop-up in the middle of London.

The Play Store is at Outernet on Charing Cross Road on Tuesday, September 16 and Wednesday, September 17. Open from 11am to 8pm, fans can pre-book a slot to guarantee entry, or try their luck and just turn up.

Decked out in the album’s bright pink branding, the pop-up will have a range of Play hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts and tote bags, vinyl and cassette editions of the album (some signed by Ed himself), a doodle wall for fans to write on and screen-printing stations for t-shirts and posters. Fans will also be able to enter a raffle to win a limited-edition, hand-painted pair of Nike Air Jordan trainers (Ed’s favourite shoe brand, apparently) that’ll be customised à la Play, a live in-store.

While you’re here, there are still tickets available for Ed’s ‘intimate’ shows in Manchester and Coventry later this year – the perfect opportunity to sport your newly acquired merch.
