One-day festival The Mighty Hoopla made a storming London debut last year. It was the camp, carefree, pop-loving alternative to the more traditional chin-strokin’ rock fests out there.
Brought to you by a coalition of the best of London's alt nightlife scene (namely Sink the Pink, Guilty Pleasures, The Grand, The Glory and Glitterbox), Hoopla returns in 2018 at its new site of Brockwell Park on Sunday Jun 3rd.
And there are some very excellent guests lined-up already. Headlining is Lily Allen, who is set to drop new album 'No Shame' this summer (and has apparently been working with Mark Ronson along the way). Joining her is Melanie C, who's been been busy racking up reunion plans with her fellow Spice Girls this summer, and Louise, who's recent return to the stage was received incredibly positively.
Factor in more lolsy '90s nostalgia from Vengaboys and B*Witched, plus modern pop delights MNEK and Nimmo, and Hoopla is looking pretty damn Mighty so far.
